This home achieved a 200pt. 5 star rating with the Austin Energy Green Building program without utilizing solar panels! Extra effort was placed on natural ventilation, an incredibly efficient thermal envelope, utilizing soy based spray foam insulation, and natural, local materials. All construction waste was recycled, and a dead tree onsite, was milled for custom detail throughout. This home will be featured on the 2008 Cool House Tour.
